By way of our tours, this is one of the cheaper and more laid back photography tours. You won't find huge crowds out in these beautiful fields, and you'll also be staying in old castles for very good prices. If you want long quiet walks keeping company only with the thousands and thousands of blooming cherry trees, this is the tour for you. Our guide Amandine is from this region, and we can guarantee this is a one of a kind photography tour.

Learn from a passionate professional

Our photographers are both passionate and knowledgeable about photography and the area. We take you to all the good spots and let you enjoy the journey along the way. We capture as many sunrises and sunsets as weather and the small group will allow, and after shooting, we return to the hotel for a couple post-editing tutorials.

Group size & Options

Not everyone runs at the same pace, and our tours are built to accommodate everyone. We keep group sizes small, so everyone will have some one on one time with the pro. We also will offer different options for everyone. Perhaps someone wants to work on astrophotography late at night, maybe someone else really wants sunrises. We try to be as flexible as possible, so you don't feel like you have to do everything, but you can still get as most out of the experience as you want.

Tour Price $900/person

Join us for a single supplement for $400. A single supplement is one full day of activities meeting in the town we will be in. It does not include room or board, but does include any transport during the day after your arrival in the town. We can help arrange your transport to the town for an additional price

Tour Dates

Apr 3 - 5, 2018

Day 1

You arrive at the train station in Auxerre, and we pick you up and take you to your hotel in a countryside chateau to drop off your luggage and relax a little bit. Then we head out to enjoy some quiet strolls under the huge fields of cherry blossoms until sunset. We then go have a homecooked French meal with a French family in the area before going back to the hotel. That night there will also be an option for an astrophotography workshop with the old and new windmills in the countryside.

Day 2

The second day we wake up early to catch the sunrise in the fields, and enjoy more quiet strolls and countryside. We come back for lunch and for a post-processing workshop. Then as evening approaches, we head to Auxerre to wander the dazzling, ancient city and capture it at sunset.

Day 3

We check out of the chateau and take you back to the train station in Auxerre and say goodbye.

Additional Info

Burgundy is known for its hills, but none of the strolls are very grueling, you can enjoy the fields at your own pace, and many of the fields have benches built to help you relax and enjoy the quiet setting.

You will arrive in Auxerre at the train station, and we will pick you up and take you to the hotel.

Departure

After checkout from the chateau hotel in the countryside near Auxerre, we will take you back to the train station in Auxerre.
