Paris Cherry Blossoms
Cherry blossoms in Paris? That's right, one of the most beautiful times of year to visit Paris is in early April when the trees bloom, and not just because of the small cherry blossoms near the Cathedral de Notre Dame. Come with us to the outskirts of the city, where we'll have plenty of wonderful hours working on getting that perfect shot of the blooms.
Learn from a passionate professional
Our photographers are both passionate and knowledgeable about photography and the area. We take you to all the good spots and let you enjoy the journey along the way. We capture as many sunrises and sunsets as weather and the small group will allow, and after shooting, we return to the hotel for a couple post-editing tutorials.
Group size & Options
Not everyone runs at the same pace, and our tours are built to accommodate everyone. We keep group sizes small, so everyone will have some one on one time with the pro. We also will offer different options for everyone. Perhaps someone wants to work on astrophotography late at night, maybe someone else really wants sunrises. We try to be as flexible as possible, so you don't feel like you have to do everything, but you can still get as most out of the experience as you want.
Tour Price $2,200/person
Join us for a single supplement for $400. A single supplement is one full day of activities meeting in the town we will be in. It does not include room or board, but does include any transport during the day after your arrival in the town. We can help arrange your transport to the town for an additional price
Tour Dates
Apr 5 - 9, 2018
Day 1
The first day we pick you up at one of the travel hubs in Paris and take you to the hotel, where you can drop off your luggage and relax a little. We then head out and do some of the more touristy things in Paris. We start at Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower and make our way to the Alexander III Bridge, the Louvre and some nearby gardens where we'll find some huge cherry blossoms. We will then go to Montmartre tower for sunset.
Day 2
The second day we go out for an early morning sunrise in the cherry blossoms at Parc de Sceaux. Here we'll spend much of the day and enjoy the park and the chateau.
Day 3
The next day we'll head over to Sacre Coeur for an early morning sunrise and enjoy a quiet morning looking out over Paris. Eventually we'll head back to the hotel to relax and to have a post-processing workshop. Later in the day we'll go back to the park for more amazing cherry blossoms and sunset.
Day 4
The final day we'll head into town to our favorite view of Paris from the Cathedral de Notre Dame and enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms popping out right under the cathedral. Then we will head to the Champs Elysee for pictures from the Arc de Triomphe and give you time to go shopping in this huge strip.
Day 5
We wake up and check out of our hotel and take you to the transport hub of your choice in Paris and say goodbye.
Additional Info
We'll make sure to do lots of the touristy things on your list, and we'll also leave free time for you to go to other spots as well.
Arrival
You will arrive in Paris at one of the transport hubs, and we'll come pick you up and take you to the hotel.
Departure
After checkout from the hotel in Paris, we'll take you back to a transport hub in Paris.
Accommodations
We will stay at a three or four star hotel in Paris.
Meals
Meals will be provided for you and will consist of breakfast lunch and dinner. If you have any health concerns or diet restrictions please let us know beforehand, so we can accommodate you the best that we can.
