From the world's most photographed mountain, the awe-inspring Matterhorn, to the breathtaking summits and valleys that were Tolkien's inspiration for Rivendell, all to finish at what the Swiss call the most beautiful lake in the Alps.

Our photographers are both passionate and knowledgeable about photography and the area. We take you to all the good spots and let you enjoy the journey along the way. We capture as many sunrises and sunsets as weather and the small group will allow, and after shooting, we return to the hotel for a couple post-editing tutorials.

Group size & Options

Not everyone runs at the same pace, and our tours are built to accommodate everyone. We keep group sizes small, so everyone will have some one on one time with the pro. We also will offer different options for everyone. Perhaps someone wants to work on astrophotography late at night, maybe someone else really wants sunrises. We try to be as flexible as possible, so you don't feel like you have to do everything, but you can still get as most out of the experience as you want.

Tour Price $2,100/person

Join us for a single supplement for $400. A single supplement is one full day of activities meeting in the town we will be in. It does not include room or board, but does include any transport during the day after your arrival in the town. We can help arrange your transport to the town for an additional price

Day 1

The first day is pretty chill. Leaving from Geneva or Zurich, we provide a train pass for you to Interlaken. Once there, we get you checked into your hotel, and will drive around the lake for a shoot later during the day towards sunset.

Day 2

The second day kicks off with a short trip to Wengen, where we watch the sunrise over the top of the mountains. We then return to the hotel for a small siesta and lunch before having the first editing session. After this we head to the great Jungfrau and to the top of Grindelwald for evening and sunset pictures.

Day 3

We wake up and leave the hotel in Interlaken and head for Kanderstag, where we'll spend the night. We check in your bags and drive to the start to Oeschinen Lake. The hike here is on all groomed trails, without too grueling of an incline, and we will have plenty of time to make it up the hill. We will spend most of our day at the lake before coming back.

Day 4

We wake up and drive to Zermatt and the great Matterhorn. Once there, we check into the hotel, give you some time to rest, hold the second editing session, and then do a short and easy hike in the surrounding mountains for sunset.

Day 5

We start the day with the most iconic of Matterhorn sunrises at Stelisee Lake. We then return relax a little, and pack everything to check out. We provide train tickets back to Zurich or Geneva, or wherever you are heading next and say goodbye.

Additional Info

All of the hikes on the journey are relatively easy walks, with well groomed trails, hikes under 4 miles, and elevation gains of less than 1,000 ft at a time. Our guides are also aspirant mountain guides in the Alps (it's a thing) and can help pack photography materials when needed, but please let us know beforehand if you there is anything we should be aware of like a heart condition, etc.

We cannot provide you with a ticket in or outside of Switzerland, but please tell us which way you are going, and we will provide you with a ticket to the farthest city in that direction.

Arrival

You will arrive in Switzerland in either Geneva or Zurich. From there we will provide a train pass for you to Interlaken.

Departure

After checkout from the hotel in Zermatt, we will provide you with train tickets back to either Geneva or Zurich or wherever else within Switzerland that you specify.

Accommodations

We will stay at three and four star hotels in Interlaken, Kandersteg, and Zermatt.

Meals

Meals will be provided for you and will consist of breakfast lunch and dinner. If you have any health concerns or diet restrictions please let us know beforehand, so we can accommodate you the best that we can.
